Many people don’t ever bother to copy iPod to iTunes. This is quite unfortunate because it puts them at risk for losing their entire music, video, photo, or podcast collection. When someone sends copies of their files into iTunes, they are basically creating a totally secure back up of the portable device. This could come in very handy if the iPod suffers damage, serious malfunctions, or is lost altogether.
